Call for Papers: 11th International Conference on the Mental Lexicon, Edmonton, Canada September 25-28, 2018

The 11th International Conference on the Mental Lexicon will be held later this year in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! The conference welcomes submissions related to psycholinguistic, neurolinguistic, and computational research on the representation and processing of words in the mind/brain. How to gain insight into reading processes – recreating (or improving) eye-tracking studies from the Turku eye-movement lab

This one-day workshop is being offered on May 9, 2018 by Dr. Raymond Bertram (University of Turku) and is hosted by The Centre for Advanced Research in Experimental and Applied Linguistics, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON. Spring Training in Experimental Psycholinguistics at the Centre for Comparative Psycholinguistics (STEP@CCP) will be held at the University of Alberta from May 14-19, 2018 (registration deadline April 29, 2018). The Spring School is directed at graduate and advanced undergraduate students and anyone else interested in learning how to make their research ideas into concrete steps towards experimental designs, data collection and analysis using advanced experimental and statistical methods. This workshop is designed to give researchers who are familiar with ERP projects an opportunity to get hands on experience exploring advanced EEG analysis methods in a collaborative setting.
