Trainees

Trainees are a vital part of the Words in the World project. We are pleased to announce the formation of The International Association of Post-Doctoral and Student Researchers, a network purpose-built to support trainees in the early stages of their careers. This network will enable trainees to benefit in a number of ways, including:

  1. Preferred access to event and job postings: Early notification of upcoming events, positions open for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and calls for employment as research assistants.
  2. Access to networking and peer mentorship: The opportunity to interact with and seek advice from peers and more senior researchers across the network.
  3. Opportunities to participate in virtual workshops and open inter-laboratory meetings.

The International Association of Post-Doctoral and Student Researchers is managed by trainees, with the support of Words in the World.

If you are interested in training opportunities supported by the grant, or if you are interested in contacting the Trainee steering committee, please contact us at info @ wordsintheworld.ca.
