Incorporating Neuropsychological Tests into Experimental Research

July 28, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-4

Host: Simritpal Malhi, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital

Date: July 28, 2020

Time: 12pm – 1pm Eastern Time (GMT -4)

This virtual office hour is for researchers who are interested in incorporating neuropsychological tests into their experimental paradigms. I will discuss how to determine whether you should be using such tests and introduce some examples of tests that tap into various cognitive domains and emotional/personality variables. I will also discuss ethical and legal considerations. Finally, I will suggest an area for future research involving the management of big data (i.e., neuropsychological norms).

Dr. Simritpal Malhi is a clinical neuropsychologist at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital with a PhD from the University of Windsor, and is a former student of Dr. Lori Buchanan.
